Mrs Allinson in Nottingham contacted us to find out more about the benefits of renting a stairlift as she needed one to get up the stairs but was worried about the responsibility of buying a stairlift.

“I had a friend who bought a stairlift and had problems with maintenance and breakdowns, and I wanted to avoid that,” said Mrs Allinson.

We were able to reassure her that any problems with the stairlift, although unlikely, would be taken care of by us. An engineer would come to her house to deal with repairs or any issues at no cost to her.

“The staff were very friendly and reassuring, so I decided to go ahead," said Mrs Allinson.

“It’s made a huge difference to my life now I can get upstairs again.”
