Wildlife Walks

There are twice monthly Wellbeing Wildlife Walks at Parks around the Nottingham area. This series of walks are short, friendly group walks that can help you become and stay active as well as meet new people.

The walks are led by park rangers and are free.

Forever Young - Trips, Activities & Events For Over 60s

Forever Young prominently works with the over 60 in the NG8 area providing befriending, activities, trips and events throughout the year.

Groups include: Breakfast Club, Bingo & Sticky 13s, Card Making, Belly Dancing, African Drumming & Karaoke. Trips such as Stratford-Upon-Avon, Tissington, NEC Craft Fair and more!

Strong & Steady Exercise Class - Dementia Friendly

These classes are suitable for people with a wide range of neurological conditions. The class is funded by Nottingham Branch of the MS society and most of the class attendees have MS and Parkinson's Disease. The physiotherapists running the class can advise on which excercises would best suit your condition.

The classes consist of a mixture of cardiovascular, strength and balance exercises and can be done in standing or seated. Adaptations can be provided to accommodate each person's abilities.
