Manchester stairlift installation

Mrs Allen, from Manchester, has a condition which causes compression of the spine and she needed help getting up the stairs safely.

She made the decision to remain independent in her home by having a stairlift installed.

She wanted a stairlift which was easy to operate and gives her a smooth ride up to her first floor landing, which has a curve in it.

After we completed a home survey and follow up discussions Mrs Allen chose the Brooks curved stairlift, as her staircase has a curve in it.

The Brooks curved stairlift has been developed to accommodate virtually all curved staircases.

The power swivel seat allows easier rotation on and off the stairlift as well as maximum comfort. 

The stairlift has a low footrest which was an added bonus for Mrs Allen as she has some problems raising her legs.

The stairlift is lockable too, which provides peace of mind for the Mrs Allen as she has several young grandchildren.

And she was very impressed with the remote control which allows her to fully operate the lift whilst sat in it.
