Warrington Disability Partnership

Warrington Disability Partnership, (WDP), is a charity with over 30 years’ experience of developing and delivering mobility and independent living services.

Their team of staff and volunteers believe that information, advice and guidance are the main keys to independent living. Since the launch in 1991 they have designed, developed and now deliver 27 mobility and independent living services, many of which are based in the Centre for Independent Living (CIL), located in Beaufort Street, Warrington.

The centre was refurbished in 2010 and has free parking and full wheelchair access to the building and a working kitchen area, as well as bathing and living areas. Trained staff offer free and impartial advice about mobility and independent living equipment.

You could also pop into the Galleries Café for a drink and snack. Staff in the CIL also manage WDP’s accessible caravans and wheelchair and equipment hire service.

Visiting the Centre

The showroom and sales area is open between 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 4pm Friday as well as Saturday mornings 9am to 12 noon.
