Barnsley Rental stair-lift installation

Mr Cowan from Barnsley has a condition which causes compression of the spine which can make it difficult for him to get up the stairs.

He was determined to stay in his home and would not be persuaded to consider moving into a care home, so his son contacted us about the possibility of hiring a rental stairlift, to see how things went.

"The pain and aches used to be fairly manageable and I was confident I could get down the stairs safely, but suddenly I started to feel nervous.

Mr Cowan’s staircase had a curve in it, and so the best solution was to install the Brooks Curved stairlift with a modular rail concept. The Brooks Curved stairlift has been developed to accommodate virtually all curved staircases.

It has an easy to use rocker switch / joystick control and a low footrest which makes it easier and safer to get on and off. And a remote control operates the lift.

Mr Cowan is now able to get up and down the stairs easily, and is feeling a lot better because he was worrying so much about having to leave his home that it was making him ill.
