Full of Life Club

Full of Life Club is a fitness programme and timetable designed for older people at all abilities. These sessions are not as fast-paced and offer opportunities to meet new people.

Activities include chair-based exercise, line dancing and badminton.

Sessions are held at Hightown Community Sports & Arts Centre, Concorde Street, Luton

Fun with your friends

Being able to make friendships, socialise and play an active role locally has an amazing affect on people’s happiness.

Older people have less opportunity to get out and make those connections. This service provides a befriending scheme where volunteer visitors (normally retired people) pop in for a chat and a cuppa with lonely older people.

In order to help those people who would like a visitor but do not have one, as well as those that are not well enough for someone to come round, they provide a telephone friendship club.
